| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com They may be "just a bunch of dumb babies," but this soundtrack album from the Rugrats: A Live Adventure road show packs quite a musical punch. The catchy tunes, composed by the Nickelodeon show's musical director, Mark Mothersbaugh, stay true to the character and spirit of the animated toddlers America has fallen in love with. Mothersbaugh, a founding member of the 1970s new-wave group Devo, has grown his musical range from de-evolution to include a wide variety of genres--such as rap, gospel, rock, and reggae--and has created quirky, upbeat ditties for the likes of Angelica Pickles ("Princess of the World"), Chuckie, Tommy, Phil and Lil ("Nothing to Be Escared Of"), and even Tommy's dad, Stu ("A Great Idea Can Change the World"). Even without having seen the road show, Rugrats fans will enjoy the familiar delivery of the characters on this clever, well-produced album. --Deborah Moore

| Customer Reviews:
Excellent July 21, 2000 I bought the cassette when I went to the Rugrats Live show -- before the show began. I loved the show, and I continue to love the music. Two years and three months later I'm still listening to this cassette. Among my very favorite songs are If I Could Count to Two, Nothing to Be Escared Of, and Everybody Say. The voices are so cute, and the songs are peppy and lively. If the Rugrats Live show came back to my area, I would see it again.
I think the cd is great. June 20, 1999 I think the movie and the cd was great. Ihave one thing to say I think that Susie Carmichael should be included un more productions of the Rugrats.
This Cd was OK January 16, 1999 I think this cd was cute and it had cute songs like the MOVERS Rap thing and the Princess thing. I like those two songs.
Wonderful collection of Original Songs December 31, 1998 As the parent of a 4 year old 'Rugrat', I went to see this Live show. The music and the characters were terrific! The music has that same kind of feeling that the popular Rugrats Theme has... mostly xylophones, drums and synthosizers!I often find myself humming a few of these ditties at work on occassion. The best tracks are the kids' "Nothing to be Ascared Of", Angelica's "Princess of the World" and Tommy and Chuckies duo "If I Could Count to Two." Mark Mothersbaugh's music is a blast. There is life after Devo!!
I love this CD! July 3, 1998 I decided to search for this CD after I saw the Rugrats Live on stage. The music was very cute, and it was a variety of music, from rap to calipso (or maybe reggae) style. I didn't buy the CD at the show, but I knew I had to have it, when my four year old son starting singing the opening song the next day after hearing it for the first time. He loves the CD more than I do. I highly recommend this CD.Caution to parents: A few lyrics include references to normal body functions that children (and adults) find humor in.
