Yamaha Piano Bench January 6, 2009 I liked this piano bench much that I bought two of them. It is afordable, sturdy, lightweight and doesn't slide on the carpet. It's just the right height for me at the keyboard, plus its adjustble. I bought the second one to use when I sew at my portable sewing machine.
Works great January 6, 2009 This was an excellent value and works great with the electronic keyboard we purchased it for.
Yamaha bench January 6, 2009 Nicely built bench but the seat is shorter than you'd expect....Other than that, not bad at all.
Satisfied December 22, 2008 This is great for traveling to do performances. It folds up easily and is pretty comfortable. I wouldn't want to sit on it for more than a 2 hour period, for sure, but it works really well to do short gigs and practice sessions. Very sturdy, just make sure you have it locked in place. It looks small in the photos, but is actually a pretty decent size for a standard person. I'm very happy with the purchase.
Not Yamaha brand December 16, 2008 I bought this bench thinking it was a yamaha brand and received a generic version that goes with Yamaha and other brands keyboard. I'm disappointed because I actually paid extra to get a Yamaha brand (I would have gotten the same bench for almost 10 dollars cheaper somewhere else) and didn't. Anybody actually got a Yamaha brand (one that comes in a box with a Yamaha logo)?
Apart from the brand issue, the bench is ok. The height adjustment is not so easy as you basically have to move the screw to change the height. It is thick, firm and comfortable though.
